Piri Piri Crab Cakes

We have all had crab cakes, some good, some horrible and then there are the great ones! This is a great one; spices, herbs and crab.....the only three essentials you need to make amazing crab cakes! This recipe is sure fire and if you cant find the Fire in The Kitchen Piri Piri Spice you can add in your favorite Piri Piri paste or chili flakes.

Makes 1 Serving


  • 3 oz Crab Meat
  • 1 tsp Chive, chopped
  • 1 tsp Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • ½ tsp Fire In The Kitchen Piri Piri Spice
  • 1 tbsp Mayo
  • Garlic Salt
  • Cayenne Pepper


  1. Mix all ingredients
  2. Form the crab cake into shape or size desired
  3. Bread the crab cake with flour
  4. Dip cake into egg wash
  5. Coat in panko
  6. Fry the crab cake in 350° fryer until golden brown
