Smoked Salmon Blinis


  • 1 lb Smoked Salmon, thick
  • 5 oz Asiago Cheese
  • 3 French Shallots, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Dill, minced
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Capers (as many as desired)


  1. Saute shallots in butter until done
  2. Allow to cool and combine all ingredients into a tall bowl
  3. Using an emulsion blender mix ingredients together until fairly smooth but thick
  4. Add cracked pepper to taste
  5. Taking each blini smear Asiago dip on bread and place salmon chunk on top
  6. Serve with a dish of capers on the side to add as desired
